How to Install

Download the installer

Run the installer

Double-click the .exe file. If SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway" — SSvid is safe.

Windows FAQ

Will Windows SmartScreen block the installer?

SmartScreen may show a warning for new apps. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". The installer is delivered directly from GitHub Releases, and we're working on Windows code signing to remove the warning entirely.

Is there a portable version?

Yes. Download the .zip file instead of the .exe installer. Extract it anywhere and run SSvid directly — no installation needed. Perfect for USB drives.

Does it work on Windows 10?

Yes. SSvid supports Windows 10 (64-bit, version 1809+) and Windows 11. Both are fully tested and supported.

How do I uninstall SSvid?

Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find SSvid, and click Uninstall. For portable installations, just delete the folder.

Why does SSvid need WebView2?

WebView2 powers the in-app browser feature, letting you browse and download from within SSvid. It's pre-installed on Windows 10/11. If missing, SSvid will prompt you to install it.
