Copyright Policy

This Copyright Policy explains how Downloader Software ("SSvid", "we", "our", or "us") handles copyright concerns involving the SSvid applications, website at ssvid.app, and related services. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Our position

SSvid respects intellectual property rights. SSvid provides software tools and does not claim ownership of third-party media selected by users. Users may download or process content only when they own it, have permission, or applicable law otherwise allows it.

Personal, educational, or offline use does not automatically make a copy lawful. A Premium license grants access to SSvid software features only; it does not grant rights to third-party content.

2. Third-party content and hosting

SSvid generally does not host the third-party media that users access. Media is ordinarily requested from the source platform and saved to the user's device. If your concern is the original media hosted on YouTube or another platform, send the removal request to that platform or the party hosting the content. SSvid cannot delete content from a third party's servers.

We can review concerns involving content hosted by us, links or statements on our Website, an SSvid-controlled integration, or misuse of our online services.

3. Access controls and signed-in content

SSvid is not intended to defeat DRM, encryption, paywalls, or account permissions. A user who supplies browser cookies or signs into a source must be authorized to use that account and session. Visibility in an account does not by itself grant permission to download, copy, or redistribute content.

4. Sending a copyright notice

Send a notice to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright Notice". Include enough information for us to understand and verify the request:

• Your full name, organization, email address, and a reliable way to contact you.
• A statement that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
• A clear description of the copyrighted work or a representative list of works.
• The exact SSvid-controlled page, material, integration, account, or service activity at issue, including URLs where available.
• An explanation of the requested action and why you believe the use is unauthorized.
• A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to submit the notice.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Do not send passwords, private keys, full payment-card details, or unrelated personal data. We may ask for additional information if the notice is incomplete or the requested action is unclear.

5. How we respond

After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, we may:

• Acknowledge and review the report within a reasonable time.
• Ask the sender, user, source platform, or other relevant party for clarification.
• Remove or correct SSvid-hosted material, website links, or product statements.
• Limit an SSvid-controlled integration or online service where reasonably necessary.
• Preserve relevant records and respond to valid legal process.
• Decline a request that does not identify material under our control or does not provide a reasonable basis for action.

Any action is based on the available facts and applicable law. Taking temporary action does not determine ownership or liability.

6. User response and correction

If we contact you about a copyright report and you believe it is mistaken, reply with the report reference, identify the affected material or activity, explain your authorization or other legal basis, and provide supporting information. We may share the response with the reporting party when reasonably necessary to evaluate the dispute or comply with law.

7. Repeat or serious misuse

We may restrict access to SSvid-controlled online services for repeated or serious infringement, fraudulent notices, misuse of credentials, attempts to defeat effective access controls, or other material violations of our Terms. We consider the nature, evidence, frequency, and circumstances of the conduct before taking action where practical.

8. Misrepresentation

Submitting a knowingly false or misleading notice or response can cause harm and may create legal liability. Submit only accurate claims that you are authorized to make. This process is not a substitute for legal advice or a court determination.

We process notice and response information to investigate the report, communicate with relevant parties, maintain security and compliance records, and address legal claims. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
